THE WRONGHEADED ONE

There was a couple who came to visit us for an evening catch up. At one point the woman said about her husband: ‘He can be so wrongheaded.' I could see it in my mind's eye: a person with his head on the side. It led to this painting. The wrongheaded gives his wife a bouquet of flowers that have already broken before he could give them. A beautiful image for relationships; we love each other and are looking for a way to let each other be exactly who we are, including our shortages.

The wrongheaded one is painted on a 100x140 cm canvas and has not ready been framed. The painting is signed on the front and a Certificate of Authenticity will be included.
